Diversity

The conflict has gone on for two years, but remains unfinished.

I think the goverment is facing a dilema.

On the one hand, the goverment has to uphold the supremacy of law.

But on the other, it seems to be worried that supporting the right would exacerbate tensions and spread the conflict to other places.

Even president is reluctant to take over responsibility to settle the controversy.

He asked the Bogor mayor to solve the issue.

To a certain extent, the regulation has had relative success in preventing, conflict, although there are still leaders who are not satisfied with the decree.

They can not afford, and therefore lack opportunities, to continue their studies at universities.

Consequently, they cannot compete with peers in the job market.

They may become street vendors or work in the informal sector.

Hence, their income is far from sufficient enough to support their family.
