Becham

He is a football icon.

She is a fashion icon.

They have been married for nearly 20 years.

They admit it has been hard work to make it a success.

They pair have 4 children.

They tied knot in 1999.

They have lived (menjalani) their married life in the public glare.

It was not always easy.

He opened up about his private life in an interview.

Your children want your time.

They deserve your time, but we are hardworking.

We feel that Hardworking is the right way to bring up our children.

Hardworking is the right way to prove and to show to them that actually we have to work hard to be successful.

"To have been married for the amount of time that we have, it's always hard work, everybody knows that, but you make it work, you make difficult situations like travelling away, being away from each other, you make it work."

He has learned to live with the constant attention and speculation about their relationship.

I have grown to kind of ignore some of the negative stuff.

If you know each other – if you know have got great friends – great family behind you.

The thing we have to do is protect our children.

He is close friends with Prince.

He attended his wedding to the now pregnant Meg this year.

Sport is such a powerful tool to give them opportunity.

It gives them opportunity to get over the injuries.

It give them opportunity to get over the hard time they have been through.

Judo

We have ambition to collect as many medals as we can.
This ambition was tainted by the failure of several athletes to compete.
The failure occurred because of lacking of understanding of rules and regulations.
They have admitted such recklessness.
She was disqualified from the competition after she refuse to take off her hijab.

While other martial arts (such as …) allow female athletes to wear a special hijab during competition, judo doesn’t.
He has been aware of the regulation and therefore he lobbied the organizer to let her wear her hijab, but to no avail.
His lobby lead to no avail.
They refused to grant their request, referring to the prevailing rules.

we have tried our best to accommodate her principle, but we have to respect rules.
He hoped in the future the organizer could adjust its rules by letting …

he was tight-lipped when asked further about his effort.

she knows about the rule, but she has insisted on wearing her hijab while fighting.
I want to break that rule and challenge the rule, because
I want to stick to my principle.

she was asked about her future.
I will not stop being an athlete who fight for my country.
I will switch to chess, a game I has excelled at since I was a child.

She decided to commit to the change, because she refused to compete as …without a hijab.
He suggested the federation relax the rules ..
We will assess the incident to prevent something similar from happening in the future.
That was the second incident …in which
An athlete was banned because of wearing a head cover, after the 2012 olyimpic.
The ban should not be viewed as an act of discrimination.
As any type of head cover was prohibited because of safety concerns.

the coach has admitted the mistake.
We forget to register them as we were occupied with that problem.

we promised a thorough evaluation to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Success Asian Games 2018

Helping hands

The two-week multisport event fostered excitement and pride among Indonesians.

The quadrennial event, the world’s second largest sports fiesta after the Olympics, has created conversations on social media,

while the public have had the opportunity to meet the continent’s best athletes.

Although the Games saw chaos in ticketing, mostly due to middle-men and management that lacked transparency,

many events were sold out, even for less popular sports.

The 2018 edition also delivered a bigger message: peace among leaders.

The great event needed hard work, and a leader should not do it all alone.

While the nation’s leader and top officials had their moments in the VVIP seats,

thousands of workers and volunteers worked day and night for the Games to be a success.

More than 13,000 volunteers were deployed in various areas,

from medical to doping, media and public relations, catering, transportation, ticketing, cleaning, ceremonies and venues.

In the meantime, 36,000 police and military personnel safeguarded crucial spots to ensure the Games was secure for all.

As the curtains rolled down,
the Games leaves us with nothing but memories and extravagant venues.

Indonesia must think hard about how to maintain and utilize the venues,

while preparing its athletes to excel in future events.

Chineese Swimmer

http://www.thejakartapost.com/life/2018/08/25/too-sexy-china-groupies-swoon-for-swim-king-sun-yang.html

He's been labelled a "drug cheat" and appears to revel in his reputation as swimming's enfant terrible -- but Chinese beefcake Sun Yang is making the sport sexy again.
The mean and moody 26-year-old is followed around the world by a small army of groupie cheerleaders who treat him like a rock star when he strides out for his races.
He has 32 million followers on Weibo, China's version of Twitter, and with his hulking frame, the controversial Sun is a true force of nature.
To the fans who fork out thousands of dollars to follow him, squealing and waving banners bearing cartoon images of the three-time Olympic champion, he's just a big softie -- albeit a hunky one with rippling muscles.
"Sun Yang is very sexy," 22-year-old Qu Zhiuan told AFP at the Asian Games in Jakarta, where their hero stormed to gold in the 200, 400, 800 and 1,500 metres freestyle.
"He has eight abdominal muscles," gushed the grad student, surrounded by Sun Yang memorabilia.
"But he's also cute and approachable. When you see him on TV shows, he cracks lame jokes with the audience," she added.
"He's not arrogant, he greets his fans -- he even cries."
Sun has been supported by around 80 die-hard fans for his races in Indonesia who audibly swoon when China's biggest sporting idol waves in their direction.
But being a swimming groupie is an expensive hobby -- just ask investment banker Dong Qiong, who has spent an eye-watering $15,000 on travel and hotels since 2016.
"I never miss Sun Yang's races, or his appearances on TV," said the 24-year-old, who boasts numerous photos taken with the star swimmer and claims to have shared a dinner with him.
"I keep accounts. It's a painful amount of money. I think if I keep chasing him like this, by the time he retires I will have spent roughly the down-payment on a flat!"
Dong insists, however, that Sun is worth it.
"He has said he has to perform well because his fans spend a lot of money and travel a long way to see him," she said.
"He dedicates his results to us so it makes me feel that he fights so hard partly because of his fans."
- V-shaped body -
Recent high school graduate Yang Siyuan agrees -- but admits his sex appeal helps.
"One of the biggest reasons I love Sun Yang is his spirit, although obviously he's a hunk too," giggled the 18-year-old.
"He has long legs and a perfect V-shaped body, but there's no conflict between sexy and cute," she insisted.
"He's a genuine guy. When Sun Yang wins he's happy -- and I will be happy if he's happy."
The young women's Jakarta hotel room is cluttered with Sun Yang photos, stickers and flags, many signed by the man himself.
All four belong to the "official" Sun Yang fan club, which they say has around 80,000 members, although many more exist.
One of their passionate number has followed Sun since the 2012 London Olympics.
"I began to love this big kid who liked to cry," said Yang Lu, who has screamed herself hoarse in Jakarta.
"It was very inspiring. He never gives up, even when he's injured."
Sun competed with a fractured foot at the 2016 Rio Olympics, where he scooped gold in the 200m free.
However, he was savaged by rival swimmers over a three-month doping ban he served a year earlier for taking a medicine prescribed to treat heart palpitations.
To fans of Sun, such vitriol was unforgivable.
"The Australian media in particular are not very friendly," huffed Dong, who says she wants to mother Sun.
"Whenever Chinese swimmers do well, they cry foul. It disgusts me actually.
"Maybe in daily life, Sun Yang is too simple and easily tricked. I feel like I want to give him a big hug.
