Stepdown



She stepped down after a woman alleged that her son was sexually inappropriate with her after offering her a "healing session."

She felt "violated" when he touched her genitals, kissed her neck, and brushed his penis against her body during the session.

He denied "any inappropriate or nonconsensual touching".

In a text message, she has thanked Bowden, calling the massage "gentle, and authentic and loving".

Police Award


A police officer has earned a certificate of merit for helping parents transport their convulsing child to a hospital,

the latest award is given to a law enforcer for a contribution to society.
He helped two parents whose 18-month-old baby was suffering convulsions
The baby was suffering convulsions because of high fever.

He was driving his motorcycle when he saw the couple carrying the baby.

They were trying to wave down passing vehicles.

Their attempts were unsuccessful. 
“They asked for help but nobody assisted them.

I saw them and immediately helped them carry the baby to the Pademangan hospital.
He carried the father and the baby to the hospital on his motorbike

while the crying mother awaited.

Alhamdulillah [thank God], once we arrived at the hospital, the baby was immediately treated and saved.

I contacted the father yesterday.
He informed me that the baby had been referred to Hermina Hospital.

Previously, a police officer was awarded for calmly dealing with a tantrum-throwing motorcyclist.

The motorcyclist was being ticketed for traffic violations.

An artistic director for over half a century, has died.

He was 85.
Lagerfeld, instantly recognisable in his dark suits, pony-tailed white hair and sun glasses,

He was best known for his association with Chanel.

Rumours of Lagerfeld's ill-health had swirled after he missed Chanel's January show in Paris.

We have lost a creative genius.

We owe him a great deal: his taste and talent were the most exceptional I have ever known."

A true craftsman who combined artistic instinct, business acumen and commensurate ego,

He was known for his strikingly visual fashion show displays and extravagant outfits.
Born in Hamburg in 1933, Lagerfeld made his debut with designer Pierre Balmain as an apprentice

before moving on to Patou and Chloe and then Italian brand Fendi.

He gained a rock-star status after he joined Chanel in 1983.

He earned the nicknames "Kaiser Karl" and "Fashion Meister".

We are deeply saddened to learn the news of Karl Lagerfeld’s passing today.

“His unrivalled contribution to the fashion industry changed the way women dress and perceive fashion," Caroline Rush - chief executive of the British Fashion Council - said in a statement.

Lagerfeld died on Tuesday morning after being taken to hospital just outside Paris the night before.
A spokesman for Chanel was not immediately available for comment.
