Vice President

What the government achieved in reducing stunting by 7 percent from 37 percent to 30 percent needs to be maintained.

Stunting is a social problem that also has to do with nutritional issues.

I am no longer young, but if you give me a chance I will be ready to take up the job.
This is for the future generations.

I swear by God I will fight against these smear campaigns. God himself has said that if wicked people (jahat) come to you with information, you should scrutinize it.

We also call on this nation to fight against hoaxes & slander, like the accusation that, if elected, Jokowi would abolish the Religious Affairs Ministry, that the call to prayers would be banned or that promiscuity would increase.

Jokowi-JK has laid the foundation and, with what we will do next, we expect to bring greater benefits. We will also switch from infrastructure to human resources. With God’s blessing, this will be realized.
What we will undertake is the continuation of Jokowi-Jusuf Kalla’s programs. We will continue making improvements.

This is a very advanced card that has a single identification number that can be used with big data. We should be able to access health care and other social services with this card

We will create 2 million new jobs and 2 million new entrepreneurs. We will also focus on education, abolish the national exams and close schools for Ramadan.

However, there are still several employment problems for our youth and for housewives who want to be independent and start their own businesses.

This country is very much full of riches. Besides natural resources, we are also blessed with amazing human resources.
We will provide free courses, access to skills like photography, arts and craft-making and fitness training for young and old.

Most millennials want to become entrepreneurs. That is why Prabowo-Sandiaga will create policies that allow millennials to create their own businesses, whether in creative industries or in the digital economy.

If vocational school graduates need scholarships, we will prepare them. This way we are confident that we will be able to achieve a victorious, just, and prosperous Indonesia. (kejayaan)

We think the main problem is the lack of a “link and match” between the education system and the working world. That is why we will create Ready to Work Houses as a permanent solution to the unemployment problem.
At the college level, we propose setting up a cyberuniversity so that graduates can get jobs here and abroad. As for non-structural solutions, we will train more people at skills training centers (BLKs).

My question is about youth unemployment. Many vocational school graduates find it difficult to get work. What is your strategy to help these young people gain employment?

We can provide counselling at the Religious Affairs Office (KUA).
So beyond milk from mothers, babies need nutrition that we can provide through social assistance. In fact, the problem needs to be tackled long before pregnancy, starting from before mothers get married.

We should not try to point fingers and find faults in terminology.

My beloved wife Nurasia gave birth to our youngest son Sulaiman when she was 42 years old. At that time, for some reason she was not able to produce breast milk. There are many mothers that have the same experiences

So, in my opinion, sadaqah putih creates confusion, because you assume that artificial milk has to be given early.

It is necessary for babies to get milk from their mothers in the first two years, according to fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence).

Sadaqah putih creates controversy. As stunting happens mostly in the first 1,000 days, this relates to nutrition provided during pregnancy, including a mother’s milk for the first two years.

The sadaqah putih you mention refers to milk. Through this program, we are confident that we will be able to significantly reduce stunting. We will also involve the business world in doing this.

we'll ensure that mothers and children receive sufficient protein and nutrition.

In your platform to reduce stunting, you mention sadaqah putih (white alms). What do you mean by that?

We will also get rid of the national exams.
Our curriculum is also too heavy and there are too many things that are not necessary and not used.
Besides educational infrastructure, we are also concerned with the prosperity of our teachers, especially contract teachers. We want to improve their competence and ensure that their economic needs are met.

It’s apparent that the budget for education that’s been transferred to local regions has not been used effectively.

Foreign workers are only allowed to take jobs that locals can’t do. That will also allow for the transfer of technology.

In order to provide jobs for our own workers, we will set up an environment that is conducive to business and industry; easy access to credit and micro financing.

We also want to help invest in and preserve our culture.
We will set up massive international festivals that gathers people together. We will build an opera house like the one in Sydney to showcase our culture. #

We will also set aside funds for culture, like what we spend on for research and education.
We have to be grateful. Our nation has a cultural strategy and this is what we will continue with. We will conserve our culture as well as introduce our culture abroad.

Let us be grateful that the unemployment rate is very low. It is hovering at around 5.13 to 5.30 percent, the lowest in 10 years. We have to encourage our workers to master digital technology.

The government should not be stingy when it comes to this matter. (pelit)

He encourages things like healthy eating habits, ...

The story of Ibu Lies, whose treatment had to be stopped because it was not covered by the Health Care and Social Security Agency, should not happen again.

98 million participants get subsidies for paying premiums. This has been a great service with little pay.

The new research agency is not going to be redundant. It will have a role in coordination. #
I am sure that Indonesian children can progress more, as long as they are given opportunities.

We want to make sure that the research conducted by researchers at the best universities does not just sit and collect dust.

If we can synergize between the research and business worlds, I am sure that the Industry 4.0 revolution can allow the creative economy to explode, guaranteeing employment opportunities.

We are optimistic that Indonesia can progress if we can focus on creating solutions. Young people want to have a chance to start their own businesses, housewives want affordable prices.

To young people: Don’t be afraid of dreaming big. We are determined to boost benefits from existing programs. (kehendak tekad)
On health issues, we will continue with National Health Insurance (JKN) and the Family Hope Program. On education, we will continue with scholarships and free tuition up to the college level.
: Our mission is to make Indonesia great. The key is human resources; people who are healthy, educated, and believe in God. The job is not yet done, so we will continue working. Leaders have to create prosperity.
