M Spain




Like many other contestants, she grew up watching the glitzy spectacle on television.

She grew up dreaming of representing her country one day.

This year, her wish has come true, with ….

With her making history as the first transgender contestant in the pageant’s 66-year history.

They have been persecuted and erased for so long.

I am showing that trans can be whatever they want.

She was crowned MS earlier this year.

I am proud to have opportunity to use this platform.

She use this platform for a message of inclusion, tolerance, and respect for L community.

The organization lifted a ban on transgender   in 2012.

The competition airs in more than x countries – with estimated … viewers annually.

A nonprofit org  that works with children and families dealing with gen identity issues.


Children often struggle with depression and suicidal thoughts.

I was born into a world.

I was born into a society which really wasn’t prepared for me.

I had the support of my family, but ..

I still faced discrimination and I had no role models.

So many children face discrimination for being different.

It is important to tell them…they have a right to be who they are and who they want to be (themselves).

She told through an interpreter.

Constitutional court ruled that Couples had the right to legally marry,…and



Set a 2 year deadline for legalization.

Voters rejected a referendum on legalization.



She was shut out of several fashion competitions because she is ….


When I won competition – I was so excited.


I knew - it was a very significant moment.


Alongside her is another contestant who is also making history as P’s indigenous MU contestant.


She has battled prejudice. (berjuang mengatasi/meniadakan)


When I entered the competition, there was a lot of criticism.


People attacked me on Instagram an in the media.


I should not be allowed to compete.


Her eyes welling up. (berlinang air mata bahagia).


There are an estimated x m indigenous people in the work, according to ..

They account for 15% of the poorest as …


They are denied land rights and access to education and healthcare.


They have a lot of traditional knowledge, but they are not given the same opportunities.

This is a great platform for me to reach the whole world, and

To show that indigenous people can also be successful.
