A student
died on a bus while on a field trip after
the bus
overturned and crashed into a tree in the early hours of Sunday.
Several
other students and their teachers on the bus were critically injured.

the bus has
been carrying a group of high school students and teachers from a field trip in
neighboring Bandung when
it
suddenly overturned and crashed into a large tree on a road shoulder.
“We are
still investigating the accident.
We
suspect the driver had dozed off, but
we cannot be certain at the moment.
He went on to say that
students
and their teachers had been crushed
by their seats (hancur tumbur)
as the
bus collided with the tree. (bertabrakan)
Survivors of the accident have been taken to Jampang Hospital in for medical
treatment.
“We have yet to complete our casualty count,
but one
student has been killed.
