Bekasi man has been accused of killing wife over household income

He is a 47-year-old man

He is accused of having strangled his wife to death during an argument

The argument was in their house in the Grand Permata City housing complex in Bekasi.

he fled the scene.

The witness was a sibling of the victim.

The witness lived nearby,

the witness found the dead body in the house and

the witness reported it to the head of the local neighborhood unit, who then contacted the police.

On April 21, the suspect surrendered himself to the Serpong Police

Serpong Police then informed Bekasi Police of the development.

“He surrendered because he felt haunted by the victim,” Candra claimed,

adding that the suspect could be charged under Article 340 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) on premeditated murder,

which carries a sentence of 20 years' imprisonment upon conviction.
