Protesters started throwing firecrackers at police officers
Police officer were guarding the Elections Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) building.

Police officers responded by shouting out warnings to protesters taking position in the department store.
They took cover behind their shields while warning protestors to stay calm

Election result protests escalated into riots late on Tuesday



The riots have caused Transjakarta to adjust some of its service routes in the capital.

The rioters also set fire to a police dormitory in Petamburan, Central Jakarta, at 3.30 a.m.

Election result protests escalated into riots late on Tuesday

Riots have led to the disruption of commuter trains in the capital since Wednesday morning,
The disruption has resulted in passengers being left stranded at stations. 

A riot that began on Jl. MH.Thamrin, Central Jakarta, expanded to Tanah Abang,
