Leaky pipe disrupts water supply in West Jakarta

A leaking water pipe on Jl. Daan Mogot disrupted the water supply in the area.


Residents in Kalideres subdistrict were impacted by the disruption –

They  may have to wait until 9 p.m. to use  water,

as repairs are underway.

The leakage was spotted in a 35-centimeter diameter pipeline.

The pipeline was owned by Tangerang regency-run water company.

Tirta Kerta Raharja supplies raw water for Palyja
from its waste water treatment plant.

the firms had worked to fix the leakage since 11 a.m. and targeted to finish by 9 p.m.

The company  had provided water tank vehicles
in case of emergency for its customers.
“Palyja has deployed its entire fleet of clean water tank vehicles

to anticipate emergencies, such as at hospitals or places of worship.
