Police
have arrested a 21-year-old man for allegedly attacking his 20-year-old
victim with a knife
during a
duel on Monday that occurred on Jl. Pisangan in Matraman subdistrict.
The
suspect, Alfian, a
resident of Jatinegara district,
He reportedly
challenged Kemal to the duel for flirting
with his girlfriend.
“[Alfian]
became jealous and
angry because the victim frequently flirted with his
girlfriend.
That’s
why he stabbed [Kemal].
the
incident occurred when Alfian and Kemal met on Jl. Pisangan Baru II, and Alfian
grabbed Kemal's shirt and stabbed him with a knife in the thigh. (paha)
Kemal fell to the ground
and Alfian
fled the location.
Local
residents helped Kemal
get to a nearby hospital, where
he received two stitches
to close the knife wound.
