Cancer Survivor MU

M Tiff Uni is an annual trans beauty pageant (which is) held in Pat.

She stood out with her pixie haircut.

The 26 yo former ballet teacher started chemotherapy treatment for leukaemia and lymphoma.

Today she is in remission.

She is one of 30 contestants (who are) competing for the crown at MU.

I was like a patient (who is) waiting to die.

Chemotherapy, radiation sessions, and an aggressive antibiotics regimen had left her frail. (lemah)

She stood resplendent in a pale lilac gown with a lace flounce.  ( megah bright - ungu pucat, lipatan renda)

To compete in the MU’s pageant was one of my inspiration to get well.

My other inspiration to get well because I have my family to take care of.

Trans people are highly visible in society, but many of them are treated like second class citizens.

Reassignment surgery is not legally recognized.

Changing g was officially considered a mental illness.

Now this event / moment is seen by many of contestants as a chance to be seen as an equal.

Many previous winners have gone on to become actress and advertising models.

This pageant is a dream.

I want society to give us the chance to do every job, because ..

We have the same talents, just like everybody else.

She hopes her survival story can help the public see her as an inspiration.

I want people to look at me as an inspiration.

I want people to see that weonly have one life.

This pageant helps others accept our true potential.
