Motor Thieves Pretend Police

Two suspected motorcycle thieves pretending to be police officers were arrested.

They were allegedly posing as narcotic officers when they ordered a motorcyclist to pull over.

They pretended to be members of the police’s drug force.

They accused the victim of carrying drugs.

After he pulled over as requested, they allegedly beat him and drove off with his motorcycle.

The victim asked for help from nearby security officers.

There was also a police officers on duty in the area.

The police and security officers chased after the suspects.

They were able to capture M, while E managed to escape.

He was later arrested in Jakarta.

They admitted that it had been their first time targeting victims in C.

Their tactics were the same; pretending to be policemen and accusing the victim of having drugs.

The police confiscated the motor and mobile as evidence in the case.

They will be charged under Article 344 of the Criminal Code on robberies.
